Remember

It is wise to remember that you are one of those who can be fooled some of the time.

Anna Happy Birthday in Ecuador

Happy Birthday to Anna. She left 2 months ago to help in some orphanages in Ecuador. We miss her, but are so thrilled with what she is able to do. She loves it so much and is so needed there. She is celebrating her 20th birthday today, so here's to you girl.

An excerpt from Anna:
... in Heaven we told these kids that we would find them, no matter where they were. I know I did. I know that is why I am here. Is because I promised Brayan, Martin, Diana , Jorge, Laurita, Louis, All of them. I promised them that I would find them and that I would come and help them and be with them and love them. And that is what I am doing. ... they are here for us. They are here to teach us and help us. I believe that with my whole heart. Sometimes I wonder why Heavenly Father keeps them here or why he lets them go through the things that they are going through. Like Pablito, he has been having seizures again and I think he is getting ammonia too. But, I wonder why does he let them suffer? But I know that Pablito is so close to Heavenly Father. I know Heavenly Father comforts him and takes away his pain because I know he is here for me and not to be hurt. It is a lot to comprehend though, but I know there is a reason for it. You can't but help feel the angels that surround theses kids and that are watching over them so closely.

Alex Scoffield; our newest missionary

Sherri and Mark are the happy parents of another missionary. We'll have Jordon and Alex out serving right now in the family. We love missionaries.
Alex leaves on Wed. for Argentina. We will have another spanish speaker in the family. Alex's oldest brother went to Argentina too. Good luck, our prayers will be with you.

Grandchildren are God's way of compensating us for growing old.

These two grandchildren will live away now, but not as far away as Nebraska.

Dave and Camie moved to Provo and Dave started a new job at the hospital. They are thrilled to be in a house of their own again.

Grandma's pre-school. Karter slept in, his family was moving.

my mother..my father...

Dear mom....
I love you so much. You are my best friend and such a great example to me. Thanks for being there and teaching me all the life lessons i need to know. Thanks for standing by my side and encouraging me to pursue my dreams and ambitions. Thanks for teaching me the Gospel young and giving me opportunities that have allowed me to gain my own testimony. You are a true example of someone that is following in the footsteps of our Savior. I am so honored to be your child. I look up to you in so many ways. You are such a fun person to play cards with, learn from, travel with, and talk to. You have such a sweet spirit and teach me something new each day. Thanks for teaching me to be independent and to figure 'it' out, whatever that 'it' may be. Thanks for putting up with me everyday and my mood swings. Thanks for your support. You are a great mother. Thank you for all my brothers and sisters. Thank you for the love you show me. It really means a lot. Thanks for making our home a home of love and the spirit. You have done such a great job at being the stake president and everyone you ever meet or come in contact with loves you immediately. I look up to you in so many ways. I love how humble you are and how charitable as well. You have such a strong testimony and have taught me a lot. Thank for everything and thanks for always listening to my problems and helping me solve them. Let it Snow!

This past week has given us a generous amount of snow up at Mountain Meadows. Enough that we now own two new snowmobils so we can get in and out of the cabin the one time it snows each year.
