Kevin is healing from his surgery where they reattached the tendon at his elbow. He hurt it up at Youth Conference at Snow College. This is the Grand Opening for the Town Place Inn with a view of the pools.

Mom's Birthday

We celebrated my mother's birthday at the Park. My brother Thayne's birthday is the day before and my daughter Heidi's is the day after, so it was a joint party of sorts. You know, when you look at your life, the greatest happinesses are family happinesses. Other things may change us, but we start and end with the family.Summer Games
Anna's club soccer team competed in the Summer Games and ended up playing for the championship where they were defeated 2 to 1, but it was a great effort.

I had one of my beautiful nieces get married on Sat. Weddings are such a monumental moment.
We had gotten back the day before from a few days in Dallas Texas, where we were able to hook up with a missionary buddy of Kevin's that we hadn't seen in many years. We had a great evening with them. We stayed at a real nice motel and I especially enjoyed this little 'happy Budda" statue that was on the grounds. He looks like he loves life and made me feel glad inside.
Kevin celebrated a birthday on Friday and we had Mother's Day today and got to talk with our son who is in Hobbs New Mexico on a mission. He's been out one year now and is such a good and faithful son.
My heart was touched by his dedication and graditude; as it is by all my children. They are all very generous with graditude and praise. There good lives bring me honor and joy.
Children begin by loving their parents; as they grow older they judge them; sometimes they forgive them. Mine are very forgiving and kind.

I just wanted to tell my mom how much I love and appreciate everything she does for me! she is a wonderful woman. She is so knowledgable! I look up to her in so many ways. She teaches me so much. I am so grateful for her in my life and for her friendship. My mom is my best friend and I love her so much! She is absolutely beautiful! I am so proud to call her my mom! Happy Mothers Day mom!
